No it’s not. When was the last time the Federal government gave up power? Once they can start tracking certain things they will start legislating on them. They are already talking about putting a GPS receiver in your car to track mileage (with the rest of the data available via court order). There are just some things I would rather control myself rather than allowing the government to allot me things.

I’m from Hermiston. The sign reads something like 18k but if you include the area surrounding it’s more like 40-50k. Tight urban areas always throw projected size off when comparing to a more agricultural area where everyone lives just outside it.
Back when I was a kid I had to cut firewood all the time. We only had a wood stove. Most of our wood was Black Locus, which is actually considered a good burning wood. However, it doesn’t really split cleanly so much as it tears and shreds when you take an axe to it. That and the pitch all over it.
I always have something to do… but my real work comes in batches. About half the time I am just working along, the other half I am racing to get something done.
