Seriously, what a joke. Should Microsoft also be forced to not include notepad with their OS so that people looking into the document development market have a chance?
From what I’ve seen they want Microsoft to include Firefox and Opera and then give users the choice of what browser they want to use. Not sure about Chrome, Safari, and the million other web-browsers out there.
I think the goal that the EU is going for is allowing companies such as Dell to pick which browser their computers ship with, or at the very least to let people pick their browser just like they would pick other hardware or software on a computer. Right now Microsoft forces Dell to only ship computers with IE.
Firefox was included when I bought my dell laptop. (But that was 4 years ago.)
I’m still wondering how much Microsoft would hurt if wine ever achieved near 100% compatibility with windows software or if something like Reactos caught on.
Can’t use the scroll thing with a middle mouse click, I just can’t get into it. =(
I figured they would add it soon since it seems like a basic feature…Using the wheel to scroll works. Clicking the scroll wheel, in most tools, pops a scroll icon and the further away you move the mouse from where it was when you clicked the faster you scroll that direction. And looking on the interwebs it looks like this might have been added?! I’ll look into it tonight! I’m very glad to hear it has been addressed.
I’m from Hermiston. The sign reads something like 18k but if you include the area surrounding it’s more like 40-50k. Tight urban areas always throw projected size off when comparing to a more agricultural area where everyone lives just outside it.
Back when I was a kid I had to cut firewood all the time. We only had a wood stove. Most of our wood was Black Locus, which is actually considered a good burning wood. However, it doesn’t really split cleanly so much as it tears and shreds when you take an axe to it. That and the pitch all over it.
I always have something to do… but my real work comes in batches. About half the time I am just working along, the other half I am racing to get something done.

ReplyDeleteSeriously, what is stopping a person from downloading the browser they want and using it?
ReplyDeleteMicrosoft not including a browser with their Operating System?
